My Story Of Traveling
Through The World
I want to share my experience with you before you go on your trip so you don’t have to make the mistakes I have! For example, traveling in Europe is different that the US. In the US you can bring everything plus the kitchen sink in your luggage because there are always elevators. While traveling by car around Scotland for 3 weeks I quickly realized after carrying my “Blue Beast ” 🙂 up 3 flights of narrow stairs at a cute B&B – Leave that sucker in the trunk (or boot :)) and transfer enough for two days in a smaller carryon to lug up and down the stairs. Much better! Soooo – bring a carryon if you go to the UK and are traveling via car.
Another trick we learned was using the Rome2Rio app to buy train tickets! Download this to your phone and you can see the schedules, buy the tickets without waiting in line! They give you a QR code and you show that to the conductor if asked.
